About Us/NYC Store
Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is one of Japan's oldest and most popular brands in the world-famous Lolita fashion style. The main brand tends towards "sweet" Lolita with light colors and designs inspired by the Rococo era, while the sub-brand Alice and the Pirates will satisfy the darker side of your soul with deeper colors and more Gothic motifs.
We are the official New York store of Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and Alice and the Pirates. This site features products available from the New York store.

We proudly share our space with the Tokyo Rebel store! Come visit both of us!
Regular hours: Open 6 days a week, 1-8PM. Try-ons accepted until 7:50PM. Closed Tuesdays.
Please note that we close promptly at 8PM. If you'd like to browse, we advise arriving earlier than 8PM.

Changing room etiquette:
- Please note that we now ask our customers to wear face covers to try on expensive pullover type items (such as dresses) - we will provide you with one.
- Please ask before using the changing room.
- No bags are allowed in the changing room.
- Please remove your shoes (not socks/stockings) if trying on dresses, pants or skirts.
- A maximum of 3 items at one time and 5 items total during your visit may be tried on. All of our clothes are limited and in most cases irreplaceable, so we must keep wear and tear to a minimum.
- You must wear a full top to try on dresses. (Short sleeves are ok, but no tank tops or camisoles.)
- Unfortunately, we cannot allow blouse try-ons.
- Absolutely no photos are allowed in the changing room.
Note that we do not allow bare feet or running in our store.
